THE THOUGHT AFTER FINISHING THE ROLEPLAY

5 October  Hi everyone, After completing our roleplay project, we feel proud and satisfied with our performance. Throughout the preparation, we learned how to communicate effectively in English and support each other as a team. At first, we faced some challenges, such as memorizing our lines and expressing emotions naturally, but through practice and teamwork, we managed to overcome them. This project also helped us improve our confidence in speaking English in front of others. We enjoyed acting together and seeing how our story came to life on stage. It was a fun and meaningful experience that made us realize the importance of cooperation, creativity, and practice. Overall, we are happy with the outcome of our roleplay and thankful for the opportunity to learn in such an enjoyable way. We hope to do more projects like this in the future!

THE FINAL PREPARATION FOR ROLEPLAY

Image
28 September  Hi everyone, For our language project today, we had our final preparation session for the roleplay. We started by doing another full rehearsal before the actual performance to make sure we remembered the flow of the scenes. Each of us took some extra time to carefully memorize the script that was given, because we wanted to deliver our lines smoothly and with confidence. After that, we checked all the props one by one to make sure nothing was missing and everything was ready to use. We also reviewed the stage positions, movements, and timing to avoid confusion during the real performance. Then, we divided the roles once more and practiced with the right expressions, proper voice projection, and clear body language so the audience could really feel the emotions of the characters. We strongly believed that practice makes perfect, so we repeated the scenes several times until we were truly satisfied with our performance. This process not only helped us improve our ...

PROGRESS OUR ROLEPLAY

Hi everyone, For our language project, our group has chosen the story Snow White. Up to this point, we have managed to assign all the roles such as Snow White, the Queen, the Huntsman, the Seven Dwarfs, and the Prince. Each member is now familiar with their character. We have also begun rehearsing some key scenes and preparing simple props like a mirror, an apple, and a crown to make the play more lively. We decided to perform Snow White because it is a classic story that is easy to follow, enjoyable for the audience, and full of moral lessons. It highlights the importance of kindness and humility, while teaching us that jealousy and greed will only cause harm. Our plan moving forward is to continue practicing together so that we can improve our acting, expressions, and coordination on stage. We are looking forward to polishing our performance and presenting our roleplay soon!

FIRST STEP OF OUR ROLEPLAY

Roleplay – Snow White Introduction Today, our group will present a roleplay based on the classic fairy tale Snow White. This story is well known around the world and has been retold in many cultures. It carries moral values such as kindness, honesty, and the importance of being humble. Why We Chose This Story We chose Snow White because it is a story that everyone can recognize easily, and it teaches us that jealousy and greed will only lead to destruction, while kindness and love will always win in the end. It is also interesting and suitable for roleplay because of its strong characters like Snow White, the Queen, the Huntsman, the Seven Dwarfs, and the Prince.  First Step of the Story Narrator: Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a princess named Snow White. She was very beautiful, with skin as white as snow, lips as red as roses, and hair as black as ebony. Queen (looking into the mirror): “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” Mirror: “Yo...

ONLINE OR FACE TO FACE CLASS

👨‍🏫 R easons for Choosing Face-to-Face Classes Over Online Learning👩‍🏫 In today’s digital era, online learning has become increasingly popular due to the rapid advancement of technology and easy internet access. Nevertheless, many students still prefer face-to-face classes over online classes. This preference is not without reason, as traditional classroom learning provides advantages that virtual learning cannot fully replace. As the Malay proverb goes, “Berguru kepalang ajar, bagai bunga kembang tak jadi” (learning without proper guidance is like a flower that never blooms), which illustrates the importance of direct and meaningful guidance in education. Firstly, face-to-face classes allow more effective interaction between lecturers and students. Direct communication enables students to ask questions, receive immediate clarification, and gain deeper understanding of the subject matter. Unlike online learning, where responses may be delayed, physical classrooms foster dynami...
