FIRST STEP OF OUR ROLEPLAY


Roleplay – Snow White


Introduction

Today, our group will present a roleplay based on the classic fairy tale Snow White. This story is well known around the world and has been retold in many cultures. It carries moral values such as kindness, honesty, and the importance of being humble.


Why We Chose This Story

We chose Snow White because it is a story that everyone can recognize easily, and it teaches us that jealousy and greed will only lead to destruction, while kindness and love will always win in the end. It is also interesting and suitable for roleplay because of its strong characters like Snow White, the Queen, the Huntsman, the Seven Dwarfs, and the Prince.


 First Step of the Story


Narrator:

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a princess named Snow White. She was very beautiful, with skin as white as snow, lips as red as roses, and hair as black as ebony.


Queen (looking into the mirror):

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”


Mirror:

“You are, my Queen… until now. Snow White is the fairest of them all.”


Queen (angrily):

“What? Snow White? I will never allow her beauty to outshine mine! I must get rid of her!”


Narrator:

From that moment, the Queen’s jealousy grew stronger, and this became the beginning of Snow White’s journey.


Explanation of the Story


The story of Snow White tells us about a young princess who is loved by everyone because of her beauty and kindness. However, her stepmother, the Queen, is very jealous of her. The Queen tries many ways to harm Snow White, but in the end, good always defeats evil. Snow White is saved by the love and care of others, showing us that kindness and purity will always triumph.

 28 September  Hi everyone, For our language project today, we had our final preparation session for the roleplay. We started by doing another full rehearsal before the actual performance to make sure we remembered the flow of the scenes. Each of us took some extra time to carefully memorize the script that was given, because we wanted to deliver our lines smoothly and with confidence. After that, we checked all the props one by one to make sure nothing was missing and everything was ready to use. We also reviewed the stage positions, movements, and timing to avoid confusion during the real performance. THE THOUGHT AFTER FINISHING THE ROLEPLAY

 5 October  Hi everyone, After completing our roleplay project, we feel proud and satisfied with our performance. Throughout the preparation, we learned how to communicate effectively in English and support each other as a team. At first, we faced some challenges, such as memorizing our lines and expressing emotions naturally, but through practice and teamwork, we managed to overcome them. This project also helped us improve our confidence in speaking English in front of others. We enjoyed acting together and seeing how our story came to life on stage. It was a fun and meaningful experience that made us realize the importance of cooperation, creativity, and practice. Overall, we are happy with the outcome of our roleplay and thankful for the opportunity to learn in such an enjoyable way. We hope to do more projects like this in the future!
